Fridheimar farm offers unique and professional horse shows this summer, where the show is focused on both education and entertainment. The saga and origin of the Icelandic horse is told during the show of five gaits, where the special Icelandic gait „tölt“ is highlighted. The show is a great entertainment both for people with horse interest and people interested in the Icelandic sagas.
After the show the guests are invited to the stable where the horses can be approached, pictures taken and have a chat to the riders, while having coffee or tea.
The horse shows are open to everyone and take place at 10:00 each day from May to October, lasting for 15 minutes. Best is to be there 15 minutes prior to the show, find a good seat and enjoy the scenery. The price pr. show is kr. 1.800,- and that includes the horse show, a visit to the stables, and a refreshment of coffee and tea.
