If you traveled with Hey Iceland or Icelandic Farm Holidays in the last 14th months, you have the opportunity to participate in our annual photo and video contest and win fantastic prizes!

Iceland is a photographer‘s paradise. Glaciers, waterfalls, hot springs, the northern lights, wildlife... the subjects are endless. You have surely to capture some amazing moments during your holiday - share them with us and enter our photo and video contest for 2016!

HOW TO ENTER

 
Simply send us your favorite photos and/or video clips from your trip via email to photo [at] heyiceland.is and you are in! Please include your booking number or a name connected with the booking in the email. Also, include where the photo was taken if you remember. Deadline for entries is December 1st, 2016. Photos must not be less than 1MB in size, see also contest rules below.

CATEGORIES & PRIZES 

 
We have teamed up with the fantastic Icelandic design label GEYSIR for prizes for the 2016 photo and video contest.

The prizes are:

• Best photo 1st place: A gorgeous Geysir wool blanket plus a range of Icelandic treats especially selected by our staff (book, sweets, etc.). Total value up to €330.  
• Best photo 2nd place: A beautiful Geysir wool scarf plus a range of Icelandic treats especially selected by our staff (book, sweets, etc.). Total value approx. €150.
• Best photo 3rd place and Best video: A beautiful Geysir wool scarf plus a range of Icelandic treats especially selected by our staff (book, sweets, etc.). Total value approx. €100.

PHOTO CONTEST RULES

 
 
Participants must be at least 18 years old and have booked accommodation or a tour directly with Hey Iceland.
 
Participants can submit up to 20 photos or videos. Each photo must be at least 1MB in size (max 6MB) and be accompanied by a short description of the subject and/or location.
 
Deadline for submission is December 1st, 2016. Hey Iceland team will choose the winning photos and video. Winners will be contacted via email after the vote and announced on our website, in our e-newsletter, and on social media.
 
Only enter the competition if you consent to Hey Iceland potentially using your photo/video for promotional purposes in print and online media, royalty-free and potentially without photo credits (we try to give credit where possible). We will not provide any third parties with photos from our photo contest. 

Hey Iceland reserves the right to change contest rules without notice and to reject any entries that do not conform to the rules or which are of an inappropriate subject matter.
