When booking a self-drive tour with us, you won’t get a printed itinerary. Instead, we have put our years of knowledge and experience to good use, by designing an innovative and comprehensive A-to-Z app including all the information you need on your trip. A joint effort to facilitate your journey and keep with our commitment of reducing our environmental footprint, in line with our environmental policy at Hey Iceland.

When you arrive in Iceland and pick up your rental car at the airport, you can login into the Hey Guide app that will accompany you throughout your trip. 

Stay informed in the most remote areas

Dotted with a GPS navigation system, the Hey Guide does not only get you to your destination but also suggests you must-see stops and optional activities along your trip, from a selection of over 3.000 places of interest, to add to your route at the tap of a button. At the end of the day, it takes you to your accommodation for the night and shows your electronic voucher. Less paper, more value!

The Hey Guide app allows you to connect to Wi-Fi, meaning you can turn it into a Wi-Fi hotspot, from any places and chat with your friends and family back home, or communicate with our team about your trip.
