New direct flights with Iceland Express into Akureyri in North Iceland and Egilsstaðir in East Iceland will be on offer from Copenhagen, Denmark summer 2012 in July and August.
The new flights give travellers increased flexibility and the chance to explore different areas within Iceland in more depth, for example by flying into Akureyri in the north and out of Reykjavík in the south, or vice versa, with the same applying to Egilsstaðir in the east.
The new weekly flights to Akureyri start 2 July and will operate on Mondays. Flights will leave Copenhagen at 13:10 and land at Akureyri at 16:20. Flights back to Copenhagen will leave Akureyri at 17:20, landing at 20:20 local time.
Direct flights between Copenhagen and Egilstaðir will be available for three weeks, starting 13 August. Flight times will be the same as for the Akureyri flights.
