New direct scheduled flights have started between Reykjavík, Iceland's capital and Húsavík in North Iceland, with Eagle Air.
There will be seven flights per week, four days a week, from Reykjavik‘s domestic airport near the city centre, to Húsavík in North Iceland.
The charming town of Húsavík is a popular tourist destination due to its excellent whale watching opportunities and is often called the "whale watching capital of Iceland". Its proximity to other major attractions in North Iceland such as Lake Mývatn and Goðafoss Waterfall also makes it an attractive destination.
Our farm Björg is close to Húsavík, in addition to our many other farms, guesthouses, country hotels and cottages in North East Iceland. Search all our accommodation options here.
We also offer whale watching tours and birdwatching tours in Húsavík and North East Iceland.
