This easy 2-hour glacier hike takes you onto the Svínafellsjökull glacier tongue, an outlet glacier of the great Vatnajökull Glacier. The scenery and views are simply stunning. We walk through a wonderland of glacial ice sculptures, meandering through ice ridges and the deep crevasses of the glacier. At the outset of our tour, an experienced guide teaches you how to use basic glacier equipment like crampons and ice axes, the required equipment for this tour. Daily departures all year.
