Walk in the path of lava that flowed some 5.200 years ago during the Leitahraun eruption, which left a magnificent 1.3 kilometer long tunnel with large magma chambers. Explore the cave comfortably thanks to the recently built walkway and footbridge, and be thrilled by the colour explosion and lava formations. In winter, cold air gets trapped inside the entrance, forming a temporary art work of ice sculptures. Available all year round.
