Walking Tour CityWalk-small group | Reykjavik

Walking Tour CityWalk-small group | Reykjavik

The City Walk is a 2 to 2.5-hour walking tour in a small group, tailored for those seeking a more personalized experience in Reykjavik. The tour begins at Reykjavík's highest point, the iconic Hallgrímskirkja, and proceeds downhill from there. Along the way, participants pass by Reykjavik's most famous landmarks, including the Harpa concert hall, the main shopping street Laugavegur, the Þingholt neighborhood, Arnarhóll hill, the Prime Minister's office, Lake Tjörnin, the well-known hot dog stand, City Hall, Parliament, and many more. The tour also highlights some of Reykjavík’s hidden street art, while providing insights into local customs, do’s and don’ts. Participants will receive a brief overview of Iceland’s history, along with recommendations for restaurants, bars, and museums. The tour aims to either lay the foundation for an ideal trip to Iceland or to conclude a memorable journey by answering any lingering questions. By the end of the walk, participants will have gained a local friend and a new perspective on the city.
