Accommodation 

11 rooms with ensuite bathrooms. In 2 of the rooms, it is possible to add an extra bed for a child or a crib. In the house there is large living room that seats 30 people and a large hall that seats up to 100 people. 

Refreshments and cooking facilities 

Breakfast is included and it is possible to buy packed lunches. Please order upon arrival. A barbecue is provided upon request and guests are welcome to utilize the facilities in the breakfast area (microwave and a water boiler). Good restaurants are in the neighbouring villages (e.g., Kaffi Sól (3 km), Vagninn (10 km, only open June-August), Húsið (18 km), Edinborg (18 km), Við Pollinn (18 km) and Tjöruhúsið (18,4 km, recommended to reserve a table beforehand).

Bars & Lounges 

We sell soda, beer, wine, handmade chocolate, and dried fish. Our lounge area, Ingastofa, is perfect for sitting down, enjoy a drink and relax or chat with other guests after an adventurous day. 

Other services 

Grocery stores and other services for visitors are in Flateyri (9 km) and Ísafjörður (17,5 km).

Outdoor & Adventure: 

In our fjord, Önundarfjörður, you can enjoy the shore by Holtsbryggja or choose one of many hiking paths around the Inn. The hosts at Holt Inn offer advice on walking and hiking routes in the area. Our guests can check out the swimming pool in Flateyri and do some birdwatching. The nearest golf courses are in Ísafjörður (17,5) and Þingeyri (32,4 km). In wintertime you can go skiing, both alpine and cross country. Only 20 minutes away we have the best cross country skiing area in Iceland. In the fall you can also join us in our sheep roundup.
